Stay involved at The Children's House in our year-round Montessori Nido and Young Children's Community (YCC) classrooms throughout the summer. Our Nido and YCC Guides and support staff will lead the children through a summer of consistent Montessori philosophy and active, outdoor summer fun.

A minimum of 8 weeks is required for this program. Only children enrolled for Fall 2025 may enroll in the Nido/YCC Summer Program.     

Weekly Session Rates:

All 3 and 4-day schedules must be consecutive days, and the same for all weeks.

  • *Requests for prearranged early care from 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM should be selected at the time of your registration.
  • *Note: there is no aftercare available this summer. The school opens at 8 AM and closes at 4 PM.
  • Add-on child care is not available.
  • *Shared meal time is an important part of the Nido and YCC curriculum. Our school prepares a healthy and delicious lunch for all children old enough to eat solid food. Families will be billed in June for all summer program lunches based on total days of enrollment. The cost is $4.20/day.

Billing Information

  • DEPOSIT: A $100 deposit is due for each camper at the time of registration. Payment of this deposit does not guarantee your spot.  
  • CONFIRMATION: Once your registration has been received, we will send you a confirmation for your schedule, a supply list, and health and emergency forms that need to be completed and returned to the Admissions Office.
  • PAYMENT OPTIONS: Registrants can choose between two payment options indicated on the registration form. Full Pay: Total Summer Tuition due May 9, 2025 Two Installments: Half Pay Due May 9; Half Pay Due June 10, 2025. 
  • CANCELATIONS AND SCHEDULE CHANGES:  All summer tuition will be refunded if enrollment is canceled or modified in writing by May 23, 2025. Neither the deposit nor the tuition will be refunded for cancelations after May 23. Schedule changes will be accommodated based on class availability.
  • LATE PAYMENT CHARGE: A late charge of $15 per month is assessed when the balance due is $25 or more and payment has not been received by the 11th of the month it is due.
  • RETURNED CHECK CHARGE:  A charge of $20 is assessed for all checks or EFTs returned because of insufficient funds or invalid account numbers.
  • LATE PICK-UP CHARGE: A fee of $50 is charged if your child is picked up after our 4 PM close time.
  • A LA CARTE CHILDCARE:  Early care is available from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM and should be selected at the time of your registration.  Al-a-carte early care may be available by contacting Andrew Lutes or Marty Miklos.
  • SUMMER SESSION CALENDAR: Our summer program will be open for 10 weeks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, June 16 - Thursday, August 21 with a closure on Friday, July 4.
