The Children's House Summer Program

Our summer program will be open for 10 weeks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, June 16 - Thursday, August 21 with a closure on Friday, July 4.  

Registration:

  • The registration period is February 10 through March 1, 2025 for students reenrolled for Fall 2025.
  • Nido (Infant), Young Children's Community (YCC), and Primary (3-6  year old) summer programs are for current families only. 
  • Elementary Summer Registration opens to the public at Noon on March 3, 2025

Summer Nido/YCC 

Our Nido/YCC program provides the consistency required by our youngest students with the perfect amount of outdoor fun! This program is for year-round students only.

Summer Primary 

The Primary Program at The Children's House is the perfect blend of our prepared Montessori environments and a distinctive flavor of summer fun. This program is only for students enrolled in Fall 2025. Students not enrolled in Fall 2025 may check back for availability in April.

Base Camp
for children entering 1st through 3rd grade

Base Campers, ages 5 to 9 entering 1st through 3rd grade, will explore various themes through outdoor and indoor activities. Many weeks culminate with an excursion off campus.

Excursions Camp
for children entering 4th through 8th grade

Excursions Campers, ages 10 to 13 entering 4th through 8th grade, will spend several days each week exploring natural amenities and destinations around the region. From kayaking, hiking, and bike excursions, to spending days learning from local food producers on their farms, there are sure to be adventures for everyone!

Junior Counselor
for Junior High Alumni who are entering 9th to 11th grade

The junior counselor program offers experience with job responsibility, time management, interpersonal communication and working with others. It introduces the work environment in a safe and supportive setting. It also serves as an important volunteer experience to list on your college application!
