As Michele Shane, Head of School, always says at the Dance of the Cosmos, “Even if this is your final year at our school, you are always part of our community.” The launch of this newsletter is one way we are committing to this statement. It is our invitation to you to stay connected and to give you a peek into what is happening now that you are no longer receiving our weekly Waypoints (formerly known as the Compass, which was formerly known as the Tuesday Note!).
Our faculty regularly contribute to our blog, we post photos and happenings on social media, our volunteer opportunities and special events help to support and build our community, and classroom highlights are a snapshot of daily life for our current learners. This newsletter will hopefully transport you back to your days in our hallways and remind you of the friendships, values, and outlook on life and learning that are nurtured here through the Montessori philosophy.
