BATA Bus Information

BATA is pleased to assist with school transportation to help parents be where they need to be, too. Departs the Hall Street Transfer Station at 7:35 a.m. on weekdays. Students arriving by BATA receive Early Care free of charge. BATA's website has more information about the route, stops, and timing.

BATA signup:

To ride BATA at the end of the school day, your child's name must be on the BATA list by ordering BATA service in Boonli or calling the front desk. Rides must be reserved by noon the day of the ride. Email the Front Desk at learn@traversechildrenshouse.org for questions regarding BATA reservations.

• Sign your student up for BATA through Boonli.

• Click on the ‘BATA Signup’ menu option and select the days you’d like.

• There is zero cost to sign up through Boonli, but please remember to ‘Check out’ by noon to ensure their name is on the list each day. 

How to Pay:

New! Beginning Sept 2026, cash and NEW BATA fare cards will still be accepted.  What will be new:

• NEW EZ Fare accounts will offer mobile ticketing.

• Create BATA EZ Fare accounts to load funds from home, at area vendors, or at both of BATA's transfer stations.

• Students using new BATA EZ Fare cards and mobile accounts will enjoy capped fares at $2.50 per day, $10 per week, or $20 per 4-weeks, regardless of the number of trips.  This is a significant savings from the $322 annual student pass or $40 monthly pass. Parents can set up family accounts and manage their account balances from home.  First cards are free with an account and any added funds.  Lost cards cost a small service fee to replace, but you can track the last usage and cancel lost cards from your account hub and transfer any remaining funds to the new card.  

• Credit card fare payments will be accepted on-board buses beginning fall of 2026 but transfer tickets and change cards will be phased out for any cash fare payments on board the bus.
